Alex has been part of WAVES for over a year and a half now. Her primary role has been teaching English, but like many people who come to Lobitos through WAVES, involvement blossoms into more than any one area! We’re grateful for her dedication to the WAVES mission. This feedback from someone who worked with Alex as a volunteer, then came back almost a year later sums up her contributions nicely: “Alexandra is doing such a great job at the school and I could see a huge difference with the same students compared to last year… Students are no longer shy to speak in front of their colleagues, speaking English so proudly, very respectful and attentive to Alex’s classes.” Thanks Alexandra!
