Warm Current and WAVES for Development, two Oregon based surf-related nonprofits, have teamed up again for the second annual Shaping the Northwest fundraising event. This event, held on Thursday, October 3rd, from 5-10pm abd will feature locally shaped surfboards from the northwest’s finest shapers, surfy art/photography, music, a silent auction & raffle items (INCLUDING A SURFBOARD!), and last but certainly not least…tamales and beer! Guests can also stop by tables showcasing the organizations and each shaper’s work. $10 donation at the door.
