Time is flying by fast in Northern Peru. It’s been a great month full of community events, activities, travelers and of course, plenty of waves!

Henry, our volunteer coordinator, is leading art workshops with an Argentinian artist all focused around plastic pollution. The community growms are building sculptures with recycled materials, wood, cardboard, and plastic while discussing the outcomes of using plastic.

We’re also grateful for our latest impact traveler, Hannah, who led all sorts of events in Lobitos. From surfing class to English, to helping out the school, Hannah was a great asset to the team. Many thanks to you, Hannah!

And of course, as always, the community children are enjoying weekend surf classes led by Jhonny, our fabulous surf instructor. We’ve never seen so many participants in the water. It’s incredible watching everyone progress and confidence grow!

We love welcoming new faces and old friends back to Lobitos. If you are interested in joining us check out our Lobitos Trip Page.
