Frankie Frederick, the ’93 200m world champion and Olympic silver medalist, addressed the children of Lobitos with a message. WAVES representatives met him at the inauguration of the HOPE exhibition at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland. He wrote:
“To: the Peruvian children – remember that it is important to stay in school and get an education but listen to your parents!”
