His attraction for the South American culture led him to travel all around the continent, discovering the astonishing diversity of natural and human treasures. He’s now back in SA to give back to the locals a bit of what they offered him during his trip. He’s working full time in Lobitos to link international volunteers with meaningful interaction with the community. Also, he makes sure that all volunteers have an amazing time with WAVES by organizing their arrival, activities, meals, and personal projects.
Sam graduated as a Chemical and Environmental Engineer at the Swiss Institute of Technology and has an extensive experience in project management and renewable energies research. He’s also a snowboard instructor and studied the methodology of teaching sport to the kids. His many years wakeboarding and snowboarding, combined with his motivation, should help him learn how to surf!
