Other Ways to Donate

Volunteer - Consider taking a trip to visit the project site yourself and see where you donation goes and multiply the impact it has. Visit our Volunteer page to learn about serving as an Surf Voluntourist.

Gift - Give a gift that helps makes WAVES. Donate in the name of friends or family members as a birthday, anniversary, wedding, Bar Mitzvah, quincenera gift. WAVES for Development will send a card to let them know.

Memorial - You can memorialize a loved one through a donation in memory of their life and accomplishments.

Planned Giving - Please contact us at donate[at]WAVESfordevelopment[.]org to arrange estate donations, bequests or gifts of securities.

Sponsorship - Sponsor the participation of at risk youth in Lobitos, Peru. $500 will cover all the expenses a year's participation in Educational Surf programming. This includes class materials and workbooks as well as the necessary equipment to swim in the pool and surf in the ocean.

Microcredit Fund - Consider making a donation to help start our Microcredit Fund. The Fund will make small loans available to youth participants who have completed feasibility analysis and basic business plans during participation in Social Entrepreneurship programming.

Wish List

Laptop Computers - Allow staff to work and stay connected anywhere in the world.

Walkie Talkies - The beach and the school in Lobitos are pretty far apart. Walkie Talkies would help facilitate communication.

Digital & Video Cameras - Surf Photography has huge potential in Lobitos. Let's get some camera's in the hands of the locals!

Frequent Flier Miles - Allow more Directors to attend more programs.

Your Knowledge - Share your expertise in accounting, other technical skills, or your roladex.
